Biographie
Majida El Roumi est l’icône de la musique arabe. Prônant la paix, la renaissance et l’union de la nation, la soprano libanaise chante les paroles de grands poètes et collabore avec des compositeurs à succès. Diplômée en littérature arabe, elle voit sa carrière décoller en 1991, grâce au célébrissime « Kalimat » du poète Nizar Qabani.
Biography
Majida El Roumi is the icon of Arabic music. Advocating for peace, the rebirth and union of the nation, the Lebanese soprano sings the words of great poets and collaborates with very successful composers. After graduating in Arabic literature, her career took off in 1991 thanks to the famous “Kalimat” from the poet Nizar Qabbani.

ماجدة الرومي هي أيقونة الموسيقى العربية. تدعو إلى السلام والنهضة واتحاد الأمم، السوبرانو اللبنانية تغني أغاني من كلمات لأكبر الشعراء وأرقى الملحنين. انطلق مشوار ماجدة الرومي، الحاصلة على ديبلوم في الآداب العربي، سنة 1991، بفضل أغنيتها الشهيرة “كلمات” للشاعر نزار القباني.
